I have worked at Annandale for 15 years and although I haven't done much recreational painting recently, when the call went out for a staff volunteer, I decided to try! The brief was to create a builder-type character.
I am very much an amateur, but I researched and found a company called Fineline who very kindly donated the reflective paint I needed for the hi-vis vest. Then I just used my imagination and Splash Norman (name selected by staff voting), is the result. I hope people enjoy looking at him as much as I enjoyed painting him.
