Hello, my name is Darcie Harrison, and I’m an A-level art student at The Sixth Form Centre and proud to have been chosen to design the dolphin for Bedell Cristin representing autism. I used circles and fractal patterns within the dolphin to reflect the complexity and beauty of autism—how it affects people in different ways.

 

The continuous line through the pattern shows how autism is forever part of someone’s life, while contrasting textures represent the sensory challenges many face. I’ve learned how meaningful it is to create art that helps others feel recognized and valued. I hope my design brings a sense of understanding and support to people with autism.
