Echo
Echo the dolphin has been sponsored through a raffle that raised an incredible £1100 by local and visiting freemasons earlier this year. For Freemasons, there are four important values that help define their path through life: Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Service. In today’s world filled with uncertainty, these principles ring as true now as they have at any point in the organisation’s history. With the St Martins Primary School next door to Masonic Temple and the organisor of the raffle a father of one of the children that attends the school they were approached and kindly agreed to decorate the sponsored dolphin in aid of the two fantastic charities the GSPCA and Autism Guernsey.

St Martins Primary School

St Martins Primary School had a competition with their Year 6 children to design different fish and 7 very different winning entries were chosen. They wanted to somehow use a sea theme and incorporate their tagline ‘being different succeeding together'. 3 of their very talented LSAs painted the dolphin: Mrs Bamford, Mrs Hughes and Mrs Moores. The children then chose the name Echo for the dolphin sponsored by the Freemasons who raised the funds in the Masonic Temple next to the school.
